The Canadian modifications were where I kept losing marks. Adam's breakdown made them click. I walked into the oral exam confident for the first time.

Common course questions
Straight answers about COLREGS prep and the certification process.
Do I need to be a deck officer already to take the course?
No. The materials suit cadets, junior officers, and experienced mariners alike. Each session is tailored to your current level and target exam.
How does 1:1 tutoring work online?
We meet by video call at a time that fits your schedule. Sessions focus on your weak areas, using real bridge scenarios and exam-style questions.
Will this help with Transport Canada oral exams?
Yes. The prep covers COLREGS, Canadian modifications, and the way examiners ask questions. You practice answering clearly and confidently, not just memorizing rules.
How long before my exam should I start studying?
Start at least six to eight weeks out if you can. That gives time to cover the rules, drill the Canadian modifications, and run mock orals without rushing.
Do you cover Canadian modifications only, or all COLREGS?
Both. The full COLREGS get covered, with extra depth on Canadian modifications. Knowing where Canada differs is what often separates a pass from a fail.
What if I have questions between tutoring sessions?
You can email questions and get a reply within a business day. No waiting for the next session to clear up a rule that is confusing you.
